Positive‑temperature rooms are typically set between +2 °C and +5 °C for short‑ to medium‑term storage; negative‑temperature rooms (0 °C to –20 °C) are used for long‑term preservation.
Our modular designs range from one‑body cabinets to twelve‑body walk‑in rooms. Larger capacities can be achieved by linking bays.
At +4 °C a body can be stored safely for four to six weeks; colder settings extend preservation further.
A mortuary fridge is a self‑contained cabinet (usually 1–4 bodies). A mortuary cold room is a walk‑in, modular chamber that offers higher capacity, easier manoeuvring and integrated racking.
As a guide, a 3‑body room starts around £15,000 installed. Final pricing depends on capacity, finishes, redundancy options and site works – we provide fixed quotes after a free survey.
Internal installations rarely require separate planning consent, but listed buildings or external plant may need approval. Our team can advise and supply technical drawings for your application.
Standard units can be delivered, installed and commissioned within 2–4 days once designs are signed off and the site is prepared.

More expensive than the firm we previously used but I suspect also better work and more honest. Told me one of our units could not be serviced without accessing a hatch over stairs (never saw the previous guy go up there so have to conclude that unit was not serviced ...).
