Be Cool installed ceiling cassette air conditioning throughout the London boutique of Pierre Marcolini, the Belgian chocolate house. Cassettes were the right call for a space like this. They sit flush into the ceiling and push cool air evenly from all four sides, so the shop floor and the chilled display counter stay comfortable through summer without a bulky wall unit breaking up the pale, sculpted plaster.
Each Mitsubishi Electric cassette was set neatly between the boutique's recessed spotlights, with the grilles squared up to the ceiling line so they read as part of the design rather than an afterthought. The finish is quiet, even cooling for customers and staff, and it keeps the focus where it should be, on the chocolate.
